Do my entries save after leaving the app?

Yup, they do. However, please note that when you delete the app, your journal entries will be lost as they are saved locally on your iPhone and not in iCloud.

Is Face ID and Touch ID login automatically enabled?

Yup, it is. You log in to the app for the first time using your Face ID or Touch ID.
